Why your TikTok comment reply is not showing
You sent it. You can see it. They cannot — or the video-reply button never appeared. That is almost always TikTok (filters, nesting, notifications, app version), not a third-party inbox. Here is what to check before you assume the reply vanished.
You can see it; others cannot
TikTok can hold, filter, or hide a reply under community guidelines, Family Pairing, restricted mode, or a “filter comments” list on that account. You still see your own line. Other people never get it. That is “why can I see my TikTok comment but others can’t” and “why is TikTok hiding comment replies.” There is no ReplyStream switch for this. Edit the wording, wait out a review, or post a new reply that does not trip the filter.
Nested replies hide behind View replies. If they opened the video and never tapped that, they will swear you never answered. Ask them to expand the thread before you resend the same line five times — identical resends look like spam.
Reply with video option not showing
The camera control is not guaranteed. It depends on app version, region, account status, and whether comments are allowed on that video. Update TikTok, restart, check the video’s comment settings, try another comment. If it is still gone, use text, or photo / slideshow where those controls exist. We cannot turn the native button on.
People search “did TikTok remove reply with video” and “how to reply with video on TikTok 2026.” The feature still exists for many accounts. When it is missing, it is a TikTok flag, not a 2026 sunset you fix with a generator.
Notifications and “what is going on with comments”
Comment-reply notifications are an in-app toggle. If they never ping, that person turned them off — or you did. Friends are not always notified just because you commented. None of that is a ReplyStream setting.
If replies keep disappearing after they were public, that is removal or a filter pass, not a draft tool eating the thread. Change the wording, stop blasting the same sentence, and if it is abuse, hide or report rather than arguing in a loop.

Filters, a hold for review, or a nested thread behind View replies. You may still see your own reply. Update the app, check comment settings, and avoid sending the identical line again.

Does TikTok notify you when someone replies to your comment?
If comment notifications are on for that person, usually. It is an app setting, not something a reply-drafting tool controls.
